Milano chain of restaurants must have about 15 eateries all over Ireland. It is very popular and for a good reasons. I am loath to say cheap and cheerful so let's go with good value in nice surroundings! And most importantly they do great pizza!
David's Sloppy Giuseppe - classic base - which he gave 10/10.
My Pollo ad Astra, with no onions, on a Romano (stretched thin) base - points deducted for the fact that it seems they put the onions on and then realised and took them off!!!! (There was still one piece of onion left on it and the waitress apologised for the "delay" and the "issue" with my pizza when she dropped it down), Oh well, not the end of the world.
MUCH worse than a stray onion was the screaming toddler on the premises. We had booked for 7.30 and when we arrived it was distracting itself from crying by banging cutlery on the high chair (lovely!) and by 8.15 was crying manically. Jeez parents take the hint from your child they don't want to be there and certainly all the other patrons don't want them there.
Banoffee pie for David. Another 10/10.
Chocolate Glory.
I changed the vanilla ice-cream to chocolate which was the wrong thing to do, it was way to chocolatey. My fault. But in any case I don't think I'd bother with dessert next time.
Pizza - fantastic
Dessert - okay
Screaming baby - Grrrr
